EVERYTHING IS BLANK!

Having the ability to draw, paint, and turn our imagination/ideas into reality in a variety of media is an amazing gift. You’re able to put out into the world what you visualize. The execution of making an idea an actual object/drawing has a variety of processes - and sometimes even getting to the point of formulating an idea to later convert into art can have its difficulties.

Don't worry I have a few tips for you!

  Leave it!

Yes, I mean it. If you are stuck, then turn away and do something else. The best ideas won't come to you if you try to force it through anyway. So turn away and do something else. Eat, drink, have fun, what ever it takes to distract you from what you are doing. It's the same thing you do if your phone is in disorder. Just reload it and it works much better. It helps you to "think outside the box".

 Step up on a chair!

It might make you look crazy but it works. To change your position and force your body to focus on its balance leads blood to your brain and you will see the same room from a different perspective. Look down on the material, the colors, paper, pencils or what ever you are working with, and new ideas comes easier.

 Have a closer look!

From your position, take a look around in the room. What is the first thing you notice? Get closer, and then even closer. Now, take a good look at it. For example if its a green plant, then study the leaves structure. What makes it fascinating? Study it and picture it in your brain. Notice the colors and how it turns from one color into another. Then image yourself tiny as an ant and have a walk on it. Climb up in the top and have a view around in the room. Suddenly everything have a different view right? If your not inspired yet, then go to the next step.

Fake it till you make it!

If you got all the way to this point without any success, and if you necessarily need to produce creativeness today I only have one final suggestion for you: Fake it! Search Google, magazines, books or what ever for inspiration. Don't copy!!! But get inspired. Fint two or three things you really like and mix it. When you begin to combine different design elements you will end up with a new design. It is not my best advise. But it is the final one.
